OmniGold: Many Australian soils are lacking in phosphorous (P) which is essential for early crop development. Crops use P as one of their main energy sources right through to seed and fruit development. Many traditional basal or planting fertilizers are based on European blends, which have much less P than is required in Australian soils. OmniGold™ offers much higher P with essential zinc and copper in a sulfate based compound. OmniGold™ can be coated with Ferticoat™, Omnia’s advanced coating system, optimising nutrient availability. This system offers the added benefits of kelp and humates giving early root stimulation and minimising leaching through natural chelation. FertiCoat has proven efficacy in improving crop production through improving fertilizer efficiency. Coated onto solid fertilizer, FertiCoat acts to protect applied elements from lockup in the soil, particularly phosphate. If applied to spread urea, FertiCoat could reduce the level of leaching, improving the level of available nitrogen to the crop.
